Hi Guys
First post and possibly the most important post!
I have been using Wordpress for most of my cms needs but I am fast coming up against difficulties with using blogging software as a full-on cms.
I am currently building a site at:
http://efe-gbnets.com/
The site has a huge amount of pages and is needing a number of templates. For example:
http://www.efe-gbnets.com/?page_id=19
The above is the link to the professional page. We want to have a different colour to separate 'professional', 'education' and main
site. But we also need the picture to change according to product information. So when I click on this link to Plankton nets:
http://www.efe-gbnets.com/?page_id=22
the picture needs to show a plankton net. So with only one category and one product in that category we have ended up with three templates. We will also need to template to style the shop!
Would CMS made simple be a good cms to use please? How easy is to learn the template system? And how easy would it be to port a ecommerce shop to easy cms - I have a customer happy to pay - any takers (If the question is inappropriate please forgive me)? Ease of use is important to the customer!
Many thanks.

Should I use this cms please?
Re: Should I use this cms please?
That would be so easy to convert to CMSMS...
To change colors for diff. pages you could use a class on the diff. parts that will change and have it hooked to the page name or menu title...
ecommerce is being worked on at the moment...

Re: Should I use this cms please?
The good news: You will only need one template in CMSMS to achieve changing of colours and header-image. I did this for a couple of pages and there are a bunch of solutions how to achieve it. For example you could use a user-defined tag out of the Wiki to do this.
