A new french web site (with english version soon)
Re: A new french web site (with english version soon)
Hi,
I like the design. It's clear and pure.
I checked your site with Opera 9.0.2 on MacOS 10.4 and found a bug in your navigation. Check this screenshot: http://birdsart.de/temp/opera-bug.png.
Why don't you highlight the current link? (…), what's about clean urls?
I noticed that your site (server) is not very fast.
A question: How will you implement the english version?
Greetings, neophron

Re: A new french web site (with english version soon)
Nice site.
I did not find it slow, but I am in Luxembourg. Maybe it is a matter of distance between the client and the host ?
What is your host ?
I am hosting my site in the US for price and service reasons, but I think there is a performance penalty specially if one targets local customers.
Anyone has experience with infomaniak ? (any REAL positive experience welcome !)

I noticed this bug in Opera, even on Windows. As I've build my menu from the "flower template", I think I have to bring some changes. OK, it's fixed. Can you try and tell me if it's good for you too?neophron wrote: I checked your site with Opera 9.0.2 on MacOS 10.4 and found a bug in your navigation. I didn't want to highlight the current link cause i found the navigation already clear. My URL are clean and I chose the "pretty URL" way of CMSMS because hosting doesn't accept Apache URL Rewriting...
Oh, it's very slow you could have say! My customer chose the hosting "Online.fr" and it's very bad...I noticed that your site (server) is not very fast.
In fact, I just put at the top of my tree organisation pages, as content type "link", "fr" (for french version) and "en" (for english version). Then "fr" is the parent of all the pages in french and "en" for all the pages in englishA question: How will you implement the english version?
