Firefox keeps busy after installing 1.0.2

Help with getting the CMS CORE package up and running. This does not include 3rd party modules, PHP scripts, anything downloaded via module manager or from any external source.

Firefox keeps busy after installing 1.0.2

Post by jovo »

I upgraded my test site for 0.13 to 1.0.2

When I want to change a page or add a new page the correct admin screen appears but the cursor of FF keeps spinning.
If I press Escape it stops. It seems to work after this.
Ignoring the spinning cursor seems to work also.

FCKeditor?

Just ignore it, FCKeditor does all sorts of strange things ;)

If you can live without wysiwyg I suggest you do so, it will make your life a lot easier..

Alas, I have co-editors who do not have any knowledge of HTML.

Besides, for simple pages I like the WYSIWYG-editor also.

Try using tinyMCE...

You must have more than one Content edit box on that page, that's what happened to me on upgrade, more than one and it kept spinning...

I uploaded the XML-file for TinyMCE 2.0.4. Installing it gives: Error parsing XML-file.

How did you install it?

Have you tried the .zip file?
