Javascript Error in FCKeditor [resolved]
Hi there,
I'm getting this error in the editor when trying to insert, and then browse for images on the server:
Line: 104
Char: 2
Error: Object required
Code: 0
URL: http://www.mydomain.com/modules/FCKedit ... elist.html
I only get this in IE 6, Firefox is behaving.
I've seen other postings, but they specifically mention problems because of upgrading. Can anyone point me in the right direction to getting this fixed?
Thanks in advance!

To get the fixed files (instead of waiting for CMSMS 1.0.3 to be released):
1. Download: http://viewsvn.cmsmadesimple.org/viewsv ... iew=markup
2. Replace your current modules/FCKeditor/editor/filemanager/browser/default/connectors/php/basexml.php with it.
3. Download: http://viewsvn.cmsmadesimple.org/viewsv ... iew=markup
4. Replace your current modules/FCKeditor/editor/filemanager/browser/default/connectors/php/connector.php with it.
Hope this helps,
Elijah

Re: Javascript Error in FCKeditor
Thanks for your help Elijah! Unfortunatly, its not had any effect.
Do you know what is causing this problem? Strange that it is ok on FF and not IE. I guess its a DOM reference or something?

Re: Javascript Error in FCKeditor
I have no idea what's causing this problem. Because CMSMS 1.1 is going to be switching to using TinyMCE I plan to start using and working on TinyMCE instead of FCKeditor. We've have quite a few problems with FCKeditor.....swathes wrote: Thanks for your help Elijah! Unfortunatly, its not had any effect.

You may find that TinyMCE is better for you. You can download it here: http://dev.cmsmadesimple.org/projects/tinymce

Re: Javascript Error in FCKeditor
OK, I've taken your advice and installed it, but Im only getting what appears to be the source, and no toolbars. Help!
(also, I was getting an error with the 2.0.4 version, so installed 2.0.3)

Re: Javascript Error in FCKeditor
Also noticed a javascript error, tinyMCE is undefined. I wonder if my problem throughout all of this, is permissions...?

Hmm... I wouldn't mind taking a look if you wanted to PM or email me a temporary Admin login for your Admin Panel.swathes wrote: Also noticed a javascript error, tinyMCE is undefined. I wonder if my problem throughout all of this, is permissions...?

Not to worry, I kinda gave up.... Switched back to the previous editor, and I dont get any errors at all.
Weird.
Thanks for your help though!
