Which modules are not compatible with cms 1.02?

Post by FinnK »

Since I have´nt found any list or an easy way to find out what modules are upgraded for 1.02 I have to ask here if I will have trouble upgrading from 0.13 to 1.02 with these modules installed:

Backup 0.5
cbrte 0.1
CMSMailer 1.73.9
Comments 1.6
Content2Pdf 0.1
CustomContent 1.4.1
FCKeditorX 1.0 RC1
FrontEndUserListing 0.2
FrontEndUsers 1.0.4
HitCounter 1.0.3
MenuManager 1.2
News 2.0.3
pisearch 1.01
RSS 1.1
SelfRegistration 1.0.3
ThemeManager 1.0.6
TinyMCE 2.0.1

Thanks!

Such a list does not exists.

The one and only way is to try it on a local test server before upgrading live system.

A simple precheck could be to make a look at the release dates of modules. If they are released before CMSms version 1.0 it's possible to have trouble (don't say you will have trouble, only it's possible  :)).

Maybe these module
Backup 0.5
cbrte 0.1
Content2Pdf 0.1
RSS 1.1
could make trouble ...

Thanks!

I didn´t think of checking release dates.

How difficult - or easy - is it to set up a local test server? Recently I got a new Intel Mac. Since I have only been using PC´s I not familiar what it would implicate. But I guess it is easyer on a Mac?

All you have to do is starting the install wizard  :).
