Hi,
For my new cmsms site I have a high res background. But it's not widescreen and I can't find the working code to automatically stretch the background at all resolutions
Any ideas ?
Running the latest version of cmsms
Stretching background
Re: Stretching background
Take a look at this page http://www.cssplay.co.uk/layouts/background.html
Then view the source, you will see what your CSS needs to be for the effect you are trying to achieve.

Re: Stretching background
Do you have a link to your web site so we could take a look?
You have HTML code in your CSS file (not the problem though)

body {
background: url(images/afbeeldinggroot.jpg);
}
css doesnt have any way to stretch/shrink images (well css3 will probably have but I dont think browsers support it yet)

Re: Stretching background
CSS file is just css, you might find some JS that does it by changing css rules on fly when page size is changed, but as I try to avoid such things because they wont work everywhere I really dont know where you could find one.
maybe mark has idea, he has found some nice JS tricks like moving boxes and so on
