HitCounter in the footer (showing page-count instead of site-count)

Post by RonnyK »

I installed HitCounter and display the counter in the footer of the template. I find that the counter is showing different figures on each page, being the counter for that specific page. I'm looking for a way to show the counter for the site in general (or index.php) instead of a different figure on each page.

Hitcounter currently ties everything to the page.

It would not be extremely difficult to add a name=blah parameter to the module to allow using the same counter in numerous places.  I just haven't had the request until now.  It's just a matter of time, and priorities.
