Step two problem install

Help with getting the CMS CORE package up and running. This does not include 3rd party modules, PHP scripts, anything downloaded via module manager or from any external source.

Post by mcktj »

Hi,

I have had to reinstall my cms, but i keep getting the same error, i search the forum for an answer but dont see any, sorry if this has been asked before.

Code: Select all

Warning: main(/home/www/mcktj.awardspace.com/lib/smarty/Smarty.class.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/www/mcktj.awardspace.com/include.php on line 90

Fatal error: main(): Failed opening required '/home/www/mcktj.awardspace.com/lib/smarty/Smarty.class.php' (include_path='.:/usr/local/php4/share/pear') in /home/www/mcktj.awardspace.com/include.php on line 90
could anybody shed any loght on this and what the problem might be?

i have reuploaded the site 3 times in an attempt to rid this error message with no success! :o

I had the whole system working and have uploaded it to to different site and it works!

Thanks in advance

Hi Mark,

basically what i did was unzip the original download, and reinstall, i think i will try a total system wipe including database, see if that helps, the ftp program that i was using did seem to run into a few problems uploading so i think that maybe i should try and upload again.  It just take a bit of time thats all.

Cheers

Which FTP do you use, I've had good luck with FileZilla... http://sourceforge.net/projects/filezilla

was using cute ftp,

managed to sort the problem, and got the menu issue sorted too, ive just been experiementing with cuting the layout menu up.  i cut the "content" out of the default template and replaced it with my own.

any ways posting a new topic to do with floating images in the header.

cheers Mark
