Another thumbnail problem...

Using 1.0.2.

I've been using images without problems for a few weeks - thumbnails and images all ok.

A couple of days ago, Image Manager started to fail to display the thumbnails.

The thumbnails are still created ok (i've checked via FTP) in the same location as before (in the same dir as the full-size images).

When I check file paths of the missing thumbs, they point to the correct dir and the correct thumbnail - yet they can't be found!!

So everything 'looks' ok - but no thumbnails (yes, the full size images appear, of course, when the missing thumbs are clicked).

Any clues, please?

I seem to have fixed this by changing the umask form 022 to 002.
Is this likely to have any other effects?

Will just make it easier to got modules working, no security risks, I set all of mine(sites) that way from the start to avoid problems...

That (sort of) implies that there's more than one...am I misreading your post? (I'm only aware of the single setting in Site Admin | Global Settings.)
