Hello,
After the installation of CMSMS 1.0.2, the main page is showing perfectly, but there is no menu at all and the news box is empty too.
I read here that it could be because the mysql user doesn't have all rights.
Is that the real reason ?
Any workaround for that ?
Thanks !

Re: No menu after install: DB rights ?
Did you follow the install to the letter, permissions specifically, are you running on widows server? any other info you can offer may help...

Re: No menu after install: DB rights ?
Yes, I followed the installation instructions (as indicated step by step), and ensured the indicator where at least yellow or green (yellow only for max uploaded files and other config which do need a config change).
The server is SunOS running Apache 1.3, php4 and mysql 3.23
Thanks !

May be the FTP didn't upload all the files/folders, I would look thru them side by side to see...

Re: No menu after install: DB rights ?
Looks good for me.
I deleted all files and reuploaded them, keeping the config.php somewhere. After deleting the lock file (maintenance), no menu, no news !
The admin seems perfect and shows everything !

Re: No menu after install: DB rights ?
You've probably already tried this, but just in case.....
Go to Extensions » Modules and see if there is an "Install" link next to News and MenuManager.
Maybe the modules were not installed for some reason.

Note: I don't have time to take on any more projects. I'm quite busy. I may be too busy to reply to emails or messages. Thanks for your understanding.
