Page Reload

Hello,

Bare with me I am very new at cmsms.

So far I love cmsms and am testing the software on this first site and would like to use it for all of my clients if this site works out.  This is the site http://d82867.jd44.golfservers.com/home/.  I have changed the settings so that the pretty urls are displayed and I am not using the menu module but instead I have used the {php} include(...); {/php} tag for my menu's.  I have the  coded my nav as follows <a href="media/"...

The problem I am having is every time I click on a new page it seems like the page has to completely reload.  I realize that the flash header will reload itself but the rest of the page should be fine.  When I change the template to one of the included templates I do not get this problem.

Does anyone know why this might be occurring

Nice looking, it may have to do with the menu besides the flash..

Have you tried it without the flash to see if it still happens...

May I ask why you don't use the menu system...

Thanks for the compliments.  It works fine without the flash and in ie but in firefox its still kinda of jerky.  It's not that big of deal, it just annoys me.  Using flash for a heder is stupid anyway but thats the way they wanted it so what do you do.

I would like to use the menu system but I am not totally comfortable with creating menu's using it.  All of my navigation is created using css and so I should be able to do that.  I don't really know where to begin and I don't understand the if statements and smarty tags.  I am assuming you need these to make it work with the module.  If you know of some good information on how to use the menu system I would appreciate it.
