I have been charged with finding a simple CMS for single web pages, that feed content into a seperate portal.
The pages would contain a title, possibly an image, and several links that include descriptions. Very simple stuff. The pages would be standalone pages, and not link to other CMSMadeSimple pages.
Each page would be managed by a different person, and we would have maybe 30 or so pages to begin with. The editors would need to be able to edit the page online, but users should never see any edit options. I would also want users to only have the ability to edit specific pages, and not everything.
Most of the other bloggers/CMS's I have looked at (WordPress/Plone/TextPattern) are overkill.
Does anyone have an opinion as to whether CMSMadeSimple would work based on the limited information I have posted above?
Thank you,
Jack
Will This CMS work for me?

Should work like you want with some permission switchesjohnjack11 wrote: The editors would need to be able to edit the page online, but users should never see any edit options. I would also want users to only have the ability to edit specific pages, and not everything.

Re: Will This CMS work for me?
Thanks for the reply. I just did not want to go through an install and then realize it was not a good fit.
One more quick question, is it possible to create a page with no header, or footer. All I need in some cases is the most basic of pages, with a graphic and ordered list, that does not have any navigation to other pages.
Thanks again,
Jack

Re: Will This CMS work for me?
That page will take whatever you use in the template, you just have to design a template with out those calls in them or take another template and use a lot of {display:none} calls in a special CSS...

Thanks Mark,
this looks like it will be a great fit. Can it be installed on Solaris 9? I noticed Solaris was not mentioned in the requirements.
I did a quick search on Solaris and did not turn anything up, so I am buggin you guys again.
Thanks,
Jack
