Looking for recommendations on a forum module

Hi everyone,

I really like the Vanilla forum software, but it doesn't look like there's a port for CMS Made Simple.  Does anyone have any recommendations for forum software that does integrate nicely into CMS Made Simple?

So far I notice there's a tag called "phpbbx" and a module called "PunBB / Protected Pages".  Are they worth trying?
