setting umask

Post by Foton »

How can I set the umask so i can afterwards access the modules by FTP? For now every module installed by XML I cannot access because the owner is apache, and not me...!

Hi Mark,

After changing umask to 002 and re-installing the NMS I finally can see the module via FTP, but still had no permission to change anything. Umask setting 000 is the right one. Now I can translate the lang-file, upload it and use it!
Thanks, you were very helpfull!
