Hi
I’m was wondering if anyone had a work-around for this problem
As many of you may know who have affiliate programmes, such as Amazon you simply need to copy and paste some code that is generated on their website; the resultant code appears in an iframe which in-turn you past into yoru own web pages.
What I’m looking for is a solution similar to the banner module whereby the advert(s) are randomly displayed; however I need the facility for say Amazon to be notified when someone clicks on that banner.
At the moment if I want to alternate advertisers I need to swap the code generated by them in my website’s pages.
TIA

Re: Affiliate programme help
This could be done simply enough (if I haven't done it already), by adding events to the Banners module. The event would have the name or id of the banner, and then you could write a UDT to handle that, and send off the appropriate notification.
It's not hard to do, just a matter of time.
