Photo Album: Please Help

Post by bbonora »

Hello,

I just started using CMSMS and I love it.  I am trying to use the photo album module and I don't think it's working properly.  I have chosen the "Thick Boxes" template because I like the examples I have seen on other peoples sites.  On the sites that I have seen, when you click to view an individual image a javascript pre-loader appears while the image is loading and the background has a transparent black layer.

The problem I am having is when you click to view an individual image the pre-loader does not appear.  Here is the link if you would like to see what I am talking about http://www.bennyvbonora.com/photogallery/album-2/21/. If anyone could help me with this I would greatly appreciate it.

Cheers,

I believe you need to change this path...

$("#TB_overlay").show();
$("body").append("

In the...

modules/Album/templates/db/js/thickbox.js

when I ftp my site and go to the album directory, there are no sub directories.  Do you think I need to re-install the module?

If there were no subdirectories/folders you would not see any templates in the album admin...

When I ftp the site it says it is unable to read the directory and shows the album directory as being empty.  Currently the permission is set 751.  I have tried to change it but it wont let me.  Would this have anything to do with me not being able to view these files?

Did you install it with the module manager?... if so...

Go to Global Settings and change the File Creation Mask (unmask): 000 ...

Its really odd? In the module directory a good portion of folders are set to 0751 and I am un able to change the permissions.  I have gone to the global settings and changed it to 000, but that doesn't seem to work.

Okay I figured out the permission problem.  I finally just un-installed the module and removed it. Then I downloaded the actual file and uploaded it using my ftp program then in the module manager I re-installed it and now its all good.  I have access to the album directory and all of the sub directories.

With that said back to the original problem the preloader.  So were do I need to point the src file.  I have looked in the images folder and I do not see a file called "circle_animation.gif".  I also looked in the images folder within the album directory and had no luck there either.
Sorry about these questions, I am just really new to CMSMS but I really appreciate your help thus far.
