error installing modules

Hi

I want to install some modules but when I install them I get the following error: (modules: guestbook, album)

I replaced the actual directory tree wuth /*/*/*/

I have to manually remove the module folder to get cmsms back up again.
does anyone have any ideas how I can overcome this problem??
