Did you ever get around to this?

Yeah but I've got other problems.

On a fresh install of 0.11.2, FCK gives the following alert box errors on loading the Edit Page:

Unknown toolbar item "CMSModules" and
Unknown toolbar "CMS Content"

Then it seems that none of the buttons which provide pop-up wizards work. They remain blank.

This seems like a versioning problem from my end but I'm not sure what exactly.

Hi Pat, that's right. I upgraded to RC1 after the problem, thinking that would fix it, but the same thing happens. I'm sure it's just that my server specs are below par because I don't have the problem with my primary ISP.

Other problems with RC1:
  • Upload file doesn't work. I don't know where they go but they don't make it into the directories which FCK seems to create in uploads directory.
  • Inline styles for embedded images are in long hand and have uppercase parameters. This should have been a simple fix from the last revision. What's most annoying is that I even hand-write the code myself and then FCK rewrites it.
There will be many more I'm sure.

Yeah, switch to TinyMCE. It's faster and far less issues.

It's also ear-marked to become the default WYSIWYG in future versions PLUS Ted is on the dev team (whether he likes it or not ;)).
