Photo Album: Please Help

Hello,

I just started using CMSMS and I love it.  I am trying to use the photo album module and I don't think it's working properly.  I have chosen the "Thick Boxes" template because I like the examples I have seen on other peoples sites.  On the sites that I have seen, when you click to view an individual image a javascript pre-loader appears while the image is loading and the background has a transparent black layer.

The problem I am having is when you click to view an individual image the pre-loader does not appear and in Mozilla FireFox the background appears solid instead of transparent.  Here is the link if you would like to see what I am talking about http://www.bennyvbonora.com/photogallery/album-2/21/.
