First CMSMS Site

Post by FantomCircuit »

My first site using CMSMS (or any proper cms for that matter). previously all the sites I created used in-house, hand-coded php, much to the dismay of the project managers/testers/me :)

Using the default CMSMS install with slightly customized contact form, and the Cataloger module for the profiles.

CMSMS has made my developer life so much easier, espescially for small sites like this. Whole site took 12 hours, from the time I unwrapped the cms for the first time, to the final client changes.

Anyway, here is the site http://www.ariaps.com.au (check out that delicious alpha transparency on the rollovers in the project portfolio pages. mmmmm...)

Once I figure out how the whole module writing thing works, I will definatley be contributing back to this awesome community.

On a side note, I keep finding new and exciting things every day with this cms - it really is like taking a holiday  ;)

Hey HenrySingleton,

This site looks great! congratulations!

You say you used the Cataloguer for 'profiles' - do you mean 'people' or 'projects'?

If you used it for Projects, I'll have to have another look at it - looks fantastic on your site.

PS - the HOME page looks exactly the same as COMPANY PROFILE link - is that right?  ... thought I should mention that I found that slightly confusing as a new web visitor

if I want to go back to HOME from any page, what do I click? usually it's the header graphic or logo, if no link is visible

Apart from that, you've done a great job!
