Help with Simple viewer module

Hi

I've installed both Simple Viewer and the uploads module, but I'm still having trouble getting anything to appear on my pages.

I've created a category in the uploads module and placed some jpg imges as instructed in the help file, I've gone to the simple view module and I've selected that category created earlier; the problem is that under the heading image count it states zero.

Can anyone tell me what I might be doing wrong? I've placed the tag in my chosen page and given the ID again as instructed but all I get is a blank white space where I should be seing an image.
