Horizontal gray bar in place of pages menu

A few days ago, I was in Content >> Pages and was getting ready to add a new page. Before I did that, I wanted to shrink a few folders I had open. When I shrank one folder, my entire pages menu disappeared and now all I can see is a horizontal gray bar (as though the entire menu shrank into a little bar) and now I can't get to any of the pages. I just keep seeing that bar. What can I do? Any help would be GREATLY appreciated! Thanks!

check page source for any errors, the way the html and styling is done sometimes leaves error messages invisible.
