Re: Error: the xajax Javascript file could not be included.
is the file there?
does it work with other browsers?
check all paths in config.php
without more info cant really say much more.

Re: Error: the xajax Javascript file could not be included.
Here is the info:
- browsers - doesn't work both in Firefox (2.0) and IE 7 - get the error dialog box with both
- config.php - all paths are checked and are valid
- the file is in place
- the version of the CMSMS is 1.0.2
any ideas? might it be from the .htaccess?

works fine here, check the page html source and look for the include for that file, check the path and try that it works.

Re: Error: the xajax Javascript file could not be included.
Hi,
I checked it (this is in the editing of a page in the admin panel). It says ../lib/xajax/xajax_js/xajax.js
The files is there. And I still can't understand why it's not found.
Where can I edit the headers of the admin page so that I make it point to /lib/xajax/xajax_js/xajax.js to see if it would work that way?

Re: Error: the xajax Javascript file could not be included.
that wont work, as the file path is $cmsroot/lib/.... and the admin part is in $cmroot/admin/...
check file rights, and that the file is intact (maybe upload it again).
try using that path in your admin url like
http://yourdomain.tld/admin/../lib/xaja ... s/xajax.js
you should see the file contents or be able to download it.

Re: Error: the xajax Javascript file could not be included.
Hi,
Have downloaded cmsms today and am having the same problem with this file. I get the warning when in the content setion on the control panel. Am using both IE6 and FF2.
I have re-uploaded it and it is definitely there. I have changed permissions on it, but that didnt make any difference. It was originally 644 and i tried it upto 777, which didnt seem to make any difference. I then tried to access it directly through IE & FF and got the following:
Forbidden
You don't have permission to access /lib/xajax/xajax_js/xajax.js on this server.
I guess this is maybe to do with permissions somewhere?
If anybody knows how to fix this i would appreciate it. Also can someone tell me what this file does and whether it is vital to be able to build a site successfully? I have a week to learn CMS and produce a corporate site, albeit a relatively simple one.
All help appreciated! Thanks.

Re: Error: the xajax Javascript file could not be included.
that sounds like a permissions error. check the permissions on the folder it's in as well as the ownership.
I'm getting the same error and the permissions are set correctly, though. I'm running 1.04. If anyone has an answer, that would be great.
