News module styles are broken in Safari

News module styles are broken in Safari

I've been looking at my site under development in various browsers, mac and pc. I've discovered that in Safari 2.0.4 the News Modules styles break.

Here are two screen shots. First one shows how it should look and the second is in Safari. It's probably some kind of inheritance issue but my knowledge of CSS is pretty inadequate so I don't really know how to proceed with fixing this.

I believe the Detail Template works just fine, but it's the Summary Template that exhibits the broken styles.
