I've got the following problem:
I just had my first happy moments with CSS and managed to adapt the menu more or less to the original site, but when I tried the site with IE, the menu didn't work!

I had an edited copy of the CSS Menu Vertical attached to the template, but changing to the unedited version didn't change anything. Any idea what I'm missing? :-/

It seems your template lacks JS needed for IE to handle :hover on arbitary elements (IE only handles :hover for "a" by default)

I have a similar problem. I'm using the Grass Stains theme from the themes site. The first time I open the site in IE 6, the drop downs work (although the green background color isn't there for all of them and it jitters as I move the mouse along the drop down).
If I click on a menu item and go to that page, the drop down no longer appear. Refreshing doesn't help, only closing the browser window and reopening it.
It work fine and flicker-free in FF.
I can't link to the site as it is behind a firewall, so I can't let you see the problem.

Thanks! That did it! I compared my page to the CSSMenu left + 1 column template and found the missing JS. Now it works like a charm! Again, thanks for helping!

The drop down menus are still very jittery. In some cases there is no background colour, only a list of text. The arrows indicating a submenu sometimes disappear. I can't tell if the problem with the dropdowns disappearing completely still happens because I don't get a page with teh same template when I click on a menu item.
I've had a similar problem with other templates that display dropdowns - not with the jittery display but with the dropdowns disappearing if I click on a menu item.
