New Zealand Site goes live

Post by robsta »

Okay first site to go live for me using the system (0.13 Canary) on an IIS server running PHP and MySQL

http://www.gasbridge.co.nz

We're still adapting the site to run a forum later on

Hi robsta,

I really like the design, however there is a horizontal scroll bar at most resolutions. I assume this will just be something in the css file.

Cheers,

Hi,

I, too, like the design, but the site takes forever to load. Please have a look at the report from websiteoptimization.com.

Consider reusing the same sub-picture twice for the paritutu-rock.jpg picture and then overlay the bottom version with an extra gif using transparency.

cmsms is just a necessary hoppy. Eclipse is my work.

and rename the slug for your second page from content_types to questions :)
Apart from that, nice site! Very well done.

If you take the width out of the menu_horiz, now set at 100%, and the wrapper, now set at 470px it will take away the scroll bar and make the menu line up in a row, currently contact gets pushed under questions in Ff.

The only other thing I see is if it goes down below 960px in width, in IE and Ff, the second content on the right starts thinking out side the box.

Cheers calguy

I think the outside the box thing is because of the image.. and as it's a cms I don't have any control over what the user uploads... although I could look at floating it over the top I guess...

Cheers
