[solved] Album module does not install

In Extensions » Modules
it says Album 0.7.3 Not Installed
but if i click install it says
Album is now installed. Don't forget to attach the new stylesheet "Album (for default, ImageGallery, and Thickbox templates)" to the template of the page on which you will be using Album

But it does not install?

i have checked the permissions & they are right. Is there any other possibilities why this module (i have the same problem with Calendar 0.7 stable) does not install?

Yes thanks, it was to do with my using a Mac, & the cms being installed on a Windows server. So the permissions went being properly set until I used a Windows PC.
