PostgreSQL Database Requires Kerberos Authentication

So I got a new job, and of course I brought CMSMS along with me.  I'm installing a copy of CMSMS as a testing site, and I get the message: "Could not connect to database. Verify that username and password are correct, and that the user has access to the given database." on Page 4.  My guess is that this is happening because our sysadmin has set up the pgsql server to use Kerberos authentication to connect.  I really don't know that much about Kerberos, so I'm sorry I can't provide more details, but if you ask me questions I'm sure I can get the pertinent information from the administrator.  Thanks in advance for everyone's help!
