NEW Install "I don't have permission to access FCKeditor" error

Dear All

I have just installed the current version of CMMS  V1.0.2 and everything is ok until I try and edit and create new content.  I keep receiving this message:

You don't have permission to access /cmsmadesimple/modules/FCKeditorX/FCKeditor/editor/fckeditor.html on this server

There are no added modules or changes to this install. 

I have installed 3 other sites on the same server, using cmsms v .13 which also utilise FCKeditor and have never had this problem so I am at loss what to check now. 

I have done the following still without success.

- checked the permissions for the admin user and they are ok.
- checked the user preference is set to fckeditor. 
- changed the asp to php in the fckconfig.js file
- reinstalled FCKeditor

If anyone could point me in the right direction or has seen this before I would greatly appreciate it.

Is this current version a stable version or is it better to continue to use V.13

this sounds like a file level permission, not a user level permission.

Using your ftp client (or however you upload your files) ensure that the permissions on the modules/FCKeditor directory are reasonable (they should at the minimum be 755

Thanks for your prompt reply.

I have double checked the file permissions and they are on 755.  I even changed them to 777.  No luck Still get forbidden and the same error message

I also checked the file permissions for FCKeditor on my other cmms V13 sites (on the same server) and the permission are also 755.

Any ideas?

UPDATE:  Problem Fixed.  I deleted my install and did a complete upload of files and fresh install and the problem was fixed.  Maybe there was a glich when I uploaded the files.  Not sure but it is all working beautiful now.
