Jiaogulan website - new CMS system

Post by Hodge »

I've just successfully converted our old website to CMS Made Simple, and love the new system! We need to revamp some of the old content to reflect our new business model too, but the new design, and CMS is in place.

Now I just need to work out how to get the sitemap menu list item spacing right in damnable IE...

It's VERY green, by the way...

Thanks for the feedback :)

I've fixed the links, thanks for that (typo in the CSS for the z-index value :-[ - I've been staring at code for so long, I can't see the mistakes in front of me, lol)

Nice site...personally feel menus on left is more intuitive though!

Very very good site, am on a broadband connection so the load time was normal from my location (Jamaica, land of reggae). I liked your site, very rich content and the theme is in keeping with the product offering, also the site layout and organisation is in logical sequence and generally well put together. Like one of the other commentors, I have a preference for navigation links on the left , however this  is just a personal whim and does not in any way detract from the site. Once again very very well done Hodge. CHEERS!!!!

Nice graphics, feels really green :)-

However, there seems to be a lot of error in the first page XHTML and it does not meet the required web standards?
Also when you increase the font size the design collapses, which brings us onto accessibility, which I think you may have to consider a little bit more ;-)

Thanks for that Russ - I've fixed the XHTML errors to bring it into line with the required standards. Just need to sort out the accessibility issues now. The Log in part in the top right causes most of the problems (at least in FireFox) when the font size increases, and IE just has a whole world of issues of it's own...

Thanks very much to everyone else for the positive feedback :)
