File Library System

hi all,
I am not sure if such thing exists or not, but I think a good file library system with search engine by authors, title, . .. Is must in such a great CMS.

Hi again,

Since no body mentioned any Library system, I will try and do it my self.
The problem is that i am new to php and newer to cmsms.
Would anyone point me out to how to start?

The steps that i will do are:
- Admin to upload files into the site by adding author name, category(admin can create new categories), date, lang, . . . . .
- Users will then specify their search criteria and find requested documents.

Any help would be greatly appreciated....

There's an separate Upload module

Perhaps it can be modified for your use.
