after uploading the files onto my hosting service via FTP, i tried to browse to yoursite.com/index.php or yoursite.com/install/install.php, but it takes me to yoursite.com/cgi-system/php.cgi?sessiontest=1& where i get this message:
"Security Alert! The PHP CGI cannot be accessed directly.
This PHP CGI binary was compiled with force-cgi-redirect enabled. This means that a page will only be served up if the REDIRECT_STATUS CGI variable is set, e.g. via an Apache Action directive.
For more information as to why this behaviour exists, see the manual page for CGI security.
For more information about changing this behaviour or re-enabling this webserver, consult the installation file that came with this distribution, or visit the manual page."
Does anyone know what might be causing this?
i can't give a lot more details, just moved to this hosting service (dreamhost), if there's anything needed please tell me and i'll try to find out. in the meantime i don't actually know what version of PHP/apache i'm using.. (if at all...? i'm new to this...). this is going on trying to install CMSMS 1.0
any help would be appreciated.

I don't think that this has anything to do with this CMS.
