Use the User db with UserID plugin

Sorry if this is not the place for asking this question, perhaps should i directly contact the author of the UserID plugin but just in case of ...

I search something to bind the cms user database with the UserID databse (all my userid's users are exact copy of cmsms user).

If nobody have never look on this i'll get a try since this could be IMHO a very usefull features.

Hmm, I thought about it, but found that I would rather not write in the CMS UserDB. But a solution could be a flag in the UserID-module to disregard its own userdb and just use CMS'. Would that do it for you? Should be fairly easy...

Sorry for answering this late, i've been away for a while.

Yes this solution would do the job.
The major problem is not to double-create users but by example if any user wants to change his password, he could in CMSMS but not in UserID. Such a flag solve this problem.

Have you times to look on it or do you prefer i send you a patch ?

Hmm, it would be great if you could have a look at it. Not sure how much time I've got the next few days. But I've done quite a lot of work since the latest released version, so I'll do a new release tonight. If you have the time, please make patches against the new version.

Feel free to ask anything about the code... it excels in lack of comments...
