how did the "news" function work?

I tried to add a by Content -> News -> Add article. After adding a new article, nothing happened... anyone know why its not coming a new article???

ok, i'm using CMS Made Simple 0.13 "Canary", apache 2.0 and php5.1.4 on win xp... anyone have an idea why the article i added is not showing in my site? thanks in advance.

Do you have {news} or {cms_module module="news"} in a page somewhere? It's hard to know what you mean without seeing your site.
