1.0 beta - internal_pretty_urls - IIS
Does this feature with with IIS now in 1.0? Not sure if this is a limitation of CMSMS or IIS/PHP so this may be a stupid question. Just curious as I really like the feature but can only deploy on IIS unfortunately.

I am 99% sure that internal pretty urls do not work on IIS. sorry.

It's a limitation of IIS.
I haven't worked on IIS in ages, but I think all is missing is a proper Rewrite Engine that can mimic .htaccess rules. Something like ISAPI_Rewrite Lite
