possible css issue in Admin Area

Hi there,

I've tested out v12.2 and 13.0 and I'm getting the same issue in the admin area.

(Php v 4.4.2, apache)

Quite frequently in the admin area when simply navigating around the css appears not to load.

I've attached an image which shows what the result is.

Has this been addressed? I've browsed the forums with no luck.

Any help would be great!

Edit: I've just noticed with 12.2 it's happening with the content also.

this usually indicates some kind of php error.

Check the source for the word error, and failing that, check your httpd process error logs.

Hoping you have access to them of course.

Unfortunatly it looks lke I'm hooped, I can't view the source on the page when the error occurs.

I don't have access to the httpd process error logs as far as I know...

by "check the source" I mean do a "view source" on the resulting page.

sometimes there is stuff there, if error reporting hasn't been turned off on you.

One way to see if this problem is in style.php is to open /admin/style.php in your browser and hitting refresh repeatedly.. if there is a error write it down...

I tried to view the source and I can't, but I will try the other method you just mentioned, thanks!

My admin's panel is like that, but it's not a big issue, so I left it.
If I refresh the admin page I'm trying to use, it will come up correctly.

I found this css - php problem when there was a bad uninstall of a module. I uninstalled a module - it was taken out of the database as an installed module - but the folder for that module was not completely removed because I was editing a file in that folder( my error not CMSMS's). This seemed to cause some php confusion and the css wasn't rendering.

Check if the modules in the 'admin - modules' listing is the same as the folder structure under modules.
