Who is 'something.com'???? I worked it out!

Help with getting the CMS CORE package up and running. This does not include 3rd party modules, PHP scripts, anything downloaded via module manager or from any external source.

Who is 'something.com'???? I worked it out!

Post by WebGirl »

Every time I try to access the admin login I get this message:
Not Found - The requested URL /admin/login.php was not found on this server.
At a site called 'something.com'!!

http://www.something.com/admin/login.php

Where would that be coming from?  it's nothing like my domain name, and I certainly put my domain name in the installation procedure

Bizarre!!

OK I worked out what that is  :o

When the database didn't accept the settings in the first install, it Install module deleted the name of my site, and I guess it put in 'something.com' ... which I didn't notice.

This would have been a factor in why I couldn't get it to work.

I just deleted all and reinstalled all and now it works - yippee!!!
