Config.php - is 644 chmod ok?

Post by WebGirl »

Hi

I've just installed CMS, have deleted 'install' directory, and now ready to chmod the config.php file.

In the control panel for my hosting, I don't have an option for 444 [as requested in the Install doco]:

http://wiki.cmsmadesimple.org/index.php ... ck_Install
Step 12

Go to your FTP program again and set permissions for config.php to 444 for security reasons!
I have a '644' - is this secure enough?

Thanks in advance!
