Well, it's looking like akra might take this on very soon, so there's a very good chance this will be done sooner rather than later. Of course, then you wonder how far it should go. Should multiple language support be in also? That's a huge change...
I'm voting for pre 1.0 also...
Roadmap
Re: Roadmap
When is there a beta of the multi language support expected?

Re: Roadmap
I'm going to shoot for a 0.10 beta in about a week, at which point I contact the translators and hopefully have 0.10 out for real in about 3 weeks.
I need to update the roadmap, as I've been thinking about it pretty hard lately.

Great, I would really like to know where cmsms is heading.wishy wrote: I need to update the roadmap, as I've been thinking about it pretty hard lately.
The quality is already high, only some new functions will make it even better.
Mambo sucks, that's why I am here.
Now they call it Joomla, but it still sucks!
CMSMS rules!

Re: Roadmap
Yeah, please do not make it too big and complexed. Go for quality on the levels you have with some minor improvments. Like 'copy content'(and some CSS), then we already have a way of building really easy multi-language sites. On the other hand, easy in/uninstall plugins and modules makes it as easy or complexed one whats...It is really fantastic how that works great without installation problems every since time!
By the way wishy, do you still need some graphic-designers for the backend? I'm willing to help.

Re: Roadmap
Actually... the plan was for true multi-language to wait for the 2.0 rewrite. I have good reasoning, though.
Basically, I feel that if it was to be supported, then it should be done right. We're talking about html blobs and templates and EVERYTHING supporting it from the bottom. So, it gets down to the question of wether it's worth rewriing large chunks of our current code base or making it a base part of the rewrite. Guess which one I'd rather do?
