Change Settings form looks bad in Internet Explorer

Post by jmcgin51 »

I find that CMSMS generally has excellent cross-browser support, except for one glaring example.  The FrontEndUsers Change Settings form looks great in Firefox, but terrible in Explorer.  Any explanation, or suggestions about how to fix it?

Frontend users uses admin templates.... everything can be changed in these:

Look in /modules/FrontEndUsers/templates

once you've changed it, paste the new one, I'll see about committing it.

BTW, Frontend users isn't part of the core, it's an addon.... so it's poor appearance in IE doesn't reflect on the core.

Right - I understand that...  I'll take a look at the FEU templates and see if I can improve anything...

thanks!

Looks to me like it has 'centered' text applied.

I edited FrontEndUsers.module.php and took out the center tags, but it didn't change anything...  maybe I'll try "text-align: left", but I don't have a lot of hope...

Here's a screen capture from the default installation of Frontend users, I have changed no templates in FEUsers
so I don't think it's an feusers issue.

Mind you this capture is from firefox.

Right - Firefox is A-OK.  IE is where the form doesn't display correctly.  Then again, it's IE, so it shouldn't surprise me...
