Catalog module - delete images????

Hi - Does any catalog module user know how to delete an image ( or secondary thumbnails).

I cant seem to find anywhere how to do this - and cant see even in dataabase where image refs are stored.

Only way I see is to delete and do it again....

Anyone using Catalog have any idea about this..... or else where info is stored in database???
