Announcing CMS Made Simple 2.2.22 - Saskatoon

Hello fans of CMS Made Simple!

Today we are announcing CMS Made Simple version 2.2.22 - Saskatoon, an incremental bug fix and stability release.

This version fixes some bugs that have been introduced recently, such as UDT code execution on save, and default page deletion when duplicating a page on large sites.

Additionally, this version fixes many minor bugs that have been lingering over the past few years, as well as some usability and performance improvements. We have upgraded the Smarty library to 4.5.5, and our code base to work with PHP up to 8.3+.

The install assistant has also seen its Smarty library upgraded to 4.5.5, and is also compatible with PHP up to 8.3+. On Windows installs the recommended installer is still the Expanded Phar.

As per the Dev Team's official support policy, the only versions of CMSMS currently supported are now v2.2.21 and v2.2.21. Please upgrade at your earliest convenience.
