Need help, want to update, where to start?
Update version 1.10.1
Re: Update version 1.10.1
The good news is that the only third-party module you have is Gallery, which is still supported. It's still going to take quite a few steps to upgrade, with a few PHP version changes along the way, but it's doable. Follow the instructions starting here: https://docs.cmsmadesimple.org/upgradin ... ns#1.9.4.3
Depending on the complexity of your site, UDTs used, etc. it could be a very easy upgrade or it could be quite challenging. Make backups at various milestones, especially before going to 2.x. Feel free to ask for specific help here or in Slack.
If you get stuck or would rather have someone do it for you, you can hire a dev at the link in my signature.

Re: Update version 1.10.1
There is a problem with the site structure menu, it stopped opening, three users and each stopped opening in different placesDIGI3 wrote: ↑Fri Sep 13, 2024 1:17 pm The good news is that the only third-party module you have is Gallery, which is still supported. Re: Update version 1.10.1
Try a force refresh (ctrl+f5 on windows) or clear the browser cache.

Re: Update version 1.10.1
it didn't help, the programmer couldn't open any categories in his account, I gave him my access, only part of it is closed, it only helps if the section is raised above the level of the parent page or moved to an unclosed section
Re: Update version 1.10.1
This still sounds like a javascript or js caching issue, so check the console (F12) to see if there's anything weird there. Also try in a different browser and/or incognito mode. If that doesn't help, do exactly the following:
Log in using incognito/private browsing mode
In Content Manager, click "Reorder Content"
Move any one page by dragging it into a new position (you can always put it back later)
Hit Submit and Yes
Go to Site Admin > System Maintenance
Click Update page hierarchy positions
Click Update Routes
Click Clear Cache
Go to Content Manager and click Expand All
Make sure one page (ideally your home page) is set as default
Have the user log in using incognito and see if it solves it. If it does, see if it works in regular mode (clear the cache properly if it doesn't).
If none of this works then I would think the upgrade failed somewhere, you'd probably need to revert to an incremental backup to see what step broke it. You could also try to freshen the install, and/or use the checksum to see if any files didn't get upgraded properly.
