I was wading into the process of migrating from all the CG* modules to the replacements ones, and the first one I attempted was to install SmarterForms, which also installed CMSMSExt as a dependency.
Immediately after this installation, the Module Manager is inaccessible. It displays only the warning block and nothing else ("Notice: the versions displayed here represent the latest XML files..."). Page source when clicking on Module Manager appears below.
Nothing else seems out of line and the site is working. Only the Module Manager appears broken. Any thoughts??

Unable to access Module Manager
Re: Unable to access Module Manager
For the short term, try renaming the SmartForms and CMSMSExt folders in /modules in your file system. That should get module manager working again (if it doesn't, check your error log and find out which module is causing it to fail).
If that solves it you could try installing the modules (starting with CMSMSExt) by downloading the files from the forge instead of using Module Manager. You forgot to mention what CMSMS version and PHP version you're using so the advice may change a bit once we know that.

Re: Unable to access Module Manager
Thanks, renaming those modules worked! It was CMSMSExt causing the issue. CMSMS ver 2.2.20 (current), but php level = 7.2.34 -- marked with a red X in sys info. I guess that should be updated, but every time I do, something has broken on the site... I'm not full-time in CMSMS so it takes some digging into the forum to look for potential problems before trying something out.
Glad the forum is here to help when something does go awry, though. Full info follows, belatedly.
Thanks,
Kirk

Re: Unable to access Module Manager
CMSMSExt should work in cmsms 2.2.20 and php 7.2 but obviously something is amiss. The next step would definitely be to check your error log. Depending on your php configuration, there may be a separate one in the /admin folder.

Re: Unable to access Module Manager
I updated to php 7.4 and was able to successfully install CMSMSExt, thanks!
Re: Unable to access Module Manager
Oh derp I was thinking 8.2 not 7.2. Yeah, 7.4 is the minimum for most currently released stuff.
