Hello,
If you create a field with type "File Upload", spaces in the name of the uploaded file cause an error.
Some will say that you shouldn't, but removing or replacing special characters, spaces, accented characters, capital letters in the names of uploaded files is a real good idea. The expected SEO gain by keeping the original names is close to zero. Surely there are situations that I don't think of, in which it is important to keep the original name. But that seems to me to be really marginal.

Re: In LISE field type "File Upload"
My post did not meet with great success. Maybe I should have posted on feature request or bug tracker. I do not know. Although familiar with this forum, my very rough level in English often plays tricks on me. The goal of the game is to advance this cms. It is never a criticism of the developers, very few in number and already completely overinvested.

Best practice is: if you want an answer to a question, a forum post or starting a discussion in Slack is probably best. If you want it to be noticed by module developers (possibly months later, when they're working on the module) the the Forge is best - either bug report or feature request.
As you didn't ask a question, I don't think anybody felt an answer was needed. It may or may not have been noticed by the module's developer.

Not getting the answer you need? CMSMS support options
