copying to another server

Hey,

I have made a webpage that is extremly slow and i want to check if it's because of the server we're currently on. What is the easiest way to do this? Can i just move the whole site folder and change the urls in the config file? I tried to read the article in the documentation but didn't really make much sense to me . Hope anyone can give me a few hints because it's a pretty urgent matter

as the doc says:

clear cache
backup your db
backup your files
transfer files to new host
restore files
restore db
clear cache


change config.php to new host settings
