FEU Photos getting deleted

Greetings:

Installed FEU and User Directory for a client and it is working perfectly.

However, when the FEU logs in and changes their settings- password, address, phone or whatever- their picture disappears. Even without checking 'clear,' it seems to overwrite the existing image and replaces it with nothing.

This does not happen in the admin area, however, as the photo remains even when other changes are made to the user settings or properties.

This is a fresh install of CMSMS 2.2.14 on a standard Linux WHM/cPanel using PHP 7.4.9 and MYSQL.

If this is a fresh install, perhaps uninstall FEU 3.x and try the latest version of FEU 2.x. It's quite stable, whereas the 3.x versions seem to have some very unique undocumented features.

I am sure that would work because the last time I used FEU we did not have this problem and I am sure that was 2.x.

Unfortunately, we already have over dozens of members who are using the site. We will resort to this drastic measure if necessary, but hoping we do not have to start over again.

You should be able to export the users, switch versions, then reimport the users. Templates may need to be redone, but if you save your customizations you can copy the relevant parts. I know it sucks, but unfortunately the developer for FEU has taken an extended hiatus.
