SitemapMgr - causes of non-generated sitemaps?

Fresh new install of CMS v2.2.12 and the latest install of SitemapMgr. I've created the template as per instructions for the Sitemap Pages and yet when I create a new sitemap, it generates empty:

The /assets folder seems writeable and I'm not seeing any errors in logs. What typically causes this...?

Is your website in Maintenance Mode? If so, disable it and try again (save sitemap)

Thank you Rolf, no the site is not in Maintenance Mode.

Than it is becoming difficult to troubleshoot from here... Might be even security settings from this webhost, I can't tell. Do you have other sites at this host that are working well?

Alternatives are SitemapMS or https://cmscanbesimple.org/blog/create- ... robots-txt

At this website do you use SimpleSiteInfo module? It uses the same method of refreshing information and has several built in checks. Worth trying to install it and run by those checks, even though you might not use it later.
