How can I modify an existingFormBuilder form?

Post by growfio »

I'm brand new to CMS Made Simple and FormBuilder. There's an existing site with a "{FormBuilder form='inquiry-form'}" snippet and I'm trying to locate where I can modify this referenced inquiry form. I'm needing to add ReCaptcha or some kind of spam filtering to it, but have no idea where it is. Can you please guide me?

Look under Extensions > Formbuilder. You'll also find the documentation for it once you're there.
Captcha is a separate module, you'll want to install and configure that first, then you can enable it for your form in FormBuilder.

I'm only seeing CMSPrinting and Search under the "Extensions" tab

Then either FormBuilder isn't installed, or you don't have permission to access it. If it's the latter, you'd need to have someone with admin access add your account to the admin group, or give the group you're in access to FormBuilder.

Hmm is there a way to access it from within the hosting account? I was given a direct login URL to the CMS made simple login. I also have his hosting credentials with Ionos

If you can't get someone to give you an admin account to the cms, the easiest way would be to edit an admin account in the database, change the email address to yours, then use the password reset functionality.

There are various forum and blog posts on methods to reset the admin password if you can't find the appropriate field to edit (I don't have it handy at the moment)

Thanks so much. I was able to get in. Does the Captcha module support Google ReCaptcha V3? If so, would that be entered in the Invisible ReCaptcha area or not?

For now, I've setup v2, but I'm still curious to know if v3 is possible.

I also noticed a different kind of form (not form builder) over on this page - http://www.luminaryleadership.net/index.php?page=executive-relationship-repair

What kind of module is this and how do I enable spam protection on it?

The Captcha module doesn't support V3 yet. It supports invisible but depending upon your client-side validation can take a bit of extra configuration.

That form appears to be an iframe, hosted on Fusionsoft. You would need to contact them or read their documentation to see how to enable captcha or other validations. The other options would be to create the form in FormBuilder then have it submit to Fusionsoft, but again you would have to consult them to get the submit url and other api information.

Thanks so much! How can I remove that form? Like where on the backend do I go to remove it? I'm not seeing it on the page area backend
