How to set my CMS folder as default website for server?

Post by duplay »

I have installed my CMS site on my MAC webserver and need to know how to set the page as the default page for the server (so when soemone types in the domain name, it goes to my site's folder). My MAC Server needs me to point to either a html main page, or a index. From what I see CMS doesnt have that.

If this needs to be moved to my PC server, can it be done by coying and pasting the site foder and the mysql database over to a new server?

THANKS!
